The new single was recorded with Tayte at Mad Fox Recording Studio in Rochdale, where they have been busy working on a lot of new material for 2022, which is sure to be an exciting and successful year for the Mancunian Indie Rockers.

Here is what Lead singer Tom Smith had to say about the new release:

“Passion Fever was written about staying in a moment for all the wrong reasons and just how different situations can be behind closed doors. As a band we are constantly seeing improvement and taking everything up a notch every time we write material. This is our best yet and what we have coming up is even more exciting.”

Main support on the night will be by London-based band, The Great Leslie, who are assuredly carving a name for themselves in the alt-rock scene, using slick songwriting combined with unique production to create instant classics that stick with you. Racking up several successes in their short tenure, their riff-driven release ‘Money’ was crowned BBC Introducing’s Track of the Week. This was closely followed by their anthemic tonic to self-flagellation, ‘Out Of My Hands’, with ‘Out Of My Hands’ reaching new heights recently, after featuring on Channel 4’s show Sunday Brunch. Their single ‘Everything From Last Night’, received airtime from the legendary John Kennedy on Radio X, with him calling it an ‘instant hit’, breaking 20k streams in record time.

The Maloners are a newly formed 4 piece indie-rock band from Manchester, consisting of frontman Mac, Isla on drums, Bobby on lead guitar, and Caleb on bass. Forming in September this year, The Maloners are very new to the Manchester music scene and be looking forward to a big 2022 after making their debut appearances in December at The Bread Shed, Hatch and Deaf Institute all under the new promotional kingpin Open Beat.
